August 2008:

Debating the Legacy

In this issue of Communalism, we present a continuation of the recent debate over Chuck Morse's "Being a Bookchinite" (Available here). In the first article, “Closing Down the Debate or Just Getting Started?”, Andy Price responds to the three replies posted on Morse’s site to his review of “Being a Bookchinite,” and the second piece, “Measures of Failure and Success, Part I,” Eirik Eiglad offers a refutation of two of the more serious accusations that Morse made in “Being a Bookchinite.” In order to explain why we find it important to answer Morse's work we have written an editorial comment here. The whole issue is available as a downloadable pdf here.

We are happy to announce that the authors of this issue, Andy Price and Eirik Eiglad, will from this issue on co-edit the journal together.
